Pellon is a brand of non-woven, interfacing material used for its stiffness.

I cut circles, squares and rectangles using pinking shears to create a razor-tooth edge around each shape. The dress is asymmetric with a one-shoulder strap and an invisible zipper closure down the back. The shapes are hand-stitched together, and decorative pieces have been fastened on.
